Fat Bastard: The Chief is corpulent and not very nice.Dogged Nice Guy: Tak wants Jeera to love him, but she doesn't return his affections.The Caged Juju was a major character in the first two games, when here he only has a voiceless cameo in "Lok the Offender".Traloc only appears in one episode, when he was the main villain of the first two games. #TAK AND THE POWER OF JUJU TV SERIES#Death by Adaptation: Travis the Dark Juju was still alive after his defeat in Tak: The Great Juju Challenge, while his animated series counterpart Darkness Juju ends up vaporized by Tak.Curse Cut Short: "Zaria's in Charge" has Jeera comment "Yeah, when Jujus fly out of my-".Canon Foreigner: The animated series features a lot of characters who don't appear in the original games, particularly Jeera, Zaria, Keeko and the Pupununu Chief.Bankruptcy Barrel: The Log Hermit wears nothing but a hollow tree stump.Instead, Tak ends up turning him into a baby, which becomes a problem when the Chief gets too used to having the rest of the Pupununu people take care of him to do anything about his responsibility of leading the tribe. Baby Morph Episode: "Little Chief" has the Chief try to get Tak to use his magic to make him a teenager again.Keeko later meets Tak in his female disguise and falls in love with him. Attractive Bent-Gender: "Girls Only" has Tak disguise himself as a girl to sneak into a club that only allows Pupununu females.In addition, the special "Destiny Schmestiny" shows an account of Tak's origins that is completely irreconcilable with the events of the games. Alternate Continuity: The series is apparently a separate canon from the games, as "A Shaman's Shaman" appears to indicate that this is Tak's first meeting with Traloc, when Tlaloc was the main villain of the first two games.Adapted Out: Several characters originating from the game series never appear in the cartoon, most notably Tlaloc's minions Pins and Needles, Moon Juju, Flora, Fauna, the Two-Headed Juju and Jibolba's brother JB.Lok bullies Tak in certain episodes of the animated series whereas in the games he was, while obnoxious and only occasionally helpful, very supportive of Tak to the point of being a wannabe Big Brother Mentor.Tak is still well-meaning for the most part, but the cartoon noticeably makes him more arrogant and willing to use his magic for personal gain.Adaptational Dumbass: Tak is noticeably a bit dumber than he was in the video games.The Dark Juju Travis is renamed Darkness Juju.Mind Reader Juju is renamed Psychic Juju.
